About Me

Hello, and welcome to my page. My name is Elizabeth and I have been a bookkeeper for 20 years, working in Construction for Electrical Contractors, House Builders and Carpenters and Joiners. I have run large and small payrolls, VAT calculations, subcontractor CIS payments and all associated administration - and am very experienced with the time frames that HMRC require. I can honestly say that I really enjoy bookkeeping, helping to organise and manage books and money! I understand how overwhelming bookkeeping and tax can feel so my goal is to make it simple and stress free. I use SAGE for Accountants software which is fully compliant for MTD and HMRC approved. I am a member of the IAB (International Association of Bookkeepers) and registered with HMRC as a tax agent.

You may ask why the name North Downs? well I live in North Kent with the Downs on my doorstep. I’m a real nature lover and keen walker and so it just had to be!
